hi all,

If the primary database is in read write mode and standby database is in read only mode , then how the logs would be archived to standby database which is in read only from primary database during syncing

Please revert me with the answers.

Regards,
Balaji

Logs are not applied when database is in read only mode.
Standby database stays at the scn it was when the database were opened in read only mode.
If not, prove it.
